APS IS CERTIFIED CARBON ZERO

APS is very proud to announce Toitū Envirocare have certified APS Complete Property Services as carbonzero and that we are the first New Zealand company in our industry to achieve this within our own organisation and not have to purchase carbon credits to claim carbonzero status. 

This accreditation is a recognition of our commitment to engage in sustainable and social equitable business practice. APS is excited to continue improving to make more sustainable choices in our projects and be more efficient in our use of resources to reduce our operational carbon footprint on an ongoing basis. 

Our Toitū carbonzero accreditation has been achieved by our 3 conservation properties sequestering more than APS activity emissions.  With our 4^th conservation property coming online for 2019, we plan to be double carbon positive in 3 years time.

At APS being carbonzero certified is our start point and not our end goal as we believe in repairing our environment and not remaining as per the status quo.  It is our overall 5 year plan to be triple carbon positive in the next 5 years with continued extensive planting and wetland restoration on our conservation properties and company wide carbon reduction programmes.

We can now also provide very good estimates on carbon emissions for projects quoted by APS and therefore, by choosing to partner with APS, a client will have the benefit of knowing the amount of carbon being emitted with the project and that  these carbon emissions are genuinely offset by more than what has been emitted.
