Installation of external gutters and re-roof of commercial property

Details:   

Re-roof of an 8-storey commercial property requiring new external box gutters.

Project Challenges: 

• Proximity of adjacent buildings and public roads made access difficult.
• Fixed, cantilevered, or underslung scaffold would add severe expense to the roof project.

Outcome: 

Our APS Height Safety Team constructed “gutter bridges” to allow the gutters to be installed off ropes.  They worked alongside the APS Roofing Team to undertake the full re-roof while rigged to anchor ropes.  No scaffolding was required.
